WHY WE DO IT?

The fashion industry is the second-largest polluter in the world after the oil industry. It is responsible for approximately 25% of the total water pollution on Earth and accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions. We care about the planet and that's why we're doing our best to cut down on pollution and help create a greener world.

Certified Organic silk

A selection of our products is now GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified.
Our silk comes from silkworms that feed on pesticide-free mulberry leaves. These healthy silkworms produce bigger cocoons with the highest quality mulberry silk thread. Additionally, compared to conventional silk production practices, our manufacturing process significantly reduces water pollution, helping maintain the environment's health.

LILYSILK × ONE TREE PLANTED

Together with our customers, we've planted 15,000 trees this April!
We're determined to build a more sustainable planet, so we've joined hands with One Tree Planted. The more trees planted, the more oxygen is produced, giving us clean air and cooling the earth. Between 1 April 2023 and 30 April 2023, with every online order we receive, a tree is planted where needed.

Products that are OEKO-TEX® Certified products are free of harmful chemicals, eco-friendly and non-toxic. Most LILYSILK products own the certification and are safe and healthy for your skin.
