What is the difference silk fitted pillows and silk pillows with silk shells?

Technically speaking, the only difference between the two is the material of the casing used to enclose the silk floss filling. The silk fitted pillows that we offer are enclosed with a 400-thread-count sateen cotton shell and the silk pillows with silk shell use 19mm Charmeuse silk made from 100% pure and natural Mulberry silk as their casing.

Both pillows offer similar amount of comfort and health benefits since the difference is only in their shells. For the allergic-prone, we would recommend the pillows with silk shell due to silk’s natural ability to resist mold, germs and dust mites which are the main allergy sources in-doors.
